The way they are going about this isn't intriguing to me, it's irritating. Just tell us what game you're making, going through all the loops is just setting your self up to disappointment in a lot of peoples eyes.

How it should have been done is create the game for PC first, THEN tone it down for consoles. Especially considering the thief series was a PC only series.
