Currently I have a GTX 670 4GB. Do I go to:
A) SLI
B) GTX Titan
C) GTX 780
D) HD7990
I run @ 1440p and want max settings on everything. What do you think?
Quick question...
Would I be able to stream WoW to this device from my home PC? This would be very important. I could sit on the couch and play a little while hanging out with the woman. I wouldn't have to concentrate so much on the...
AX850 - I have 3 sets of the modular cables - I could try that if the new PSU has the same problem. I played for hours with no issues once I moved the psu outside the case, so I don't think it is a connector.
By latency it was in WoW....
I can't be certain. I went ahead and bought a new one. I'm going to take this one apart once the new one comes in to see if anything is melted, etc on there
Honestly I'm lost. All of the shutdowns stopped when I moved the psu outside the case. Then, the latency started. However, no more shutdowns. The fan spins now when I take the psu out of the case. I don't know what the issue is...
Quote:It does sound like a PSU problem but since i am not there and can see it i cant say for sure
I think you're right. I unscrewed the PSU... took it out of the case... now I have it running outside the case and haven't had a problem...
Quote:Try another PSU if it still does it its not the PSU
Obviously.
I was wondering if there was any way to tell from the signs I listed above before doing all that. If there isn't, that's acceptable.
How would I know if this was really the PSU or if it was the motherboard, hard drive, CPU, GPU, etc?
Just through testing? Or are the signs above pretty much a PSU related issue in your minds?
