Just for your info, the T410 (14inch portable line) weighs 5 pounds, whilst the T510 (15 inch portable line) weighs just over 6 pounds, but you can fit it with a 512MB version of the same graphics card found on the T410.

yes, some carriers have blocked the use of skype protocols, you need to check that before you get any kind of phone. Anyways, i'd suggest the Nokia E51 for a phone which can support Skype (through the official skype app OR fring )
