Wimp.com seems to use flash, don't know about the other one. The videos start playing instantly for me.

Flash videos? Try reinstalling/updating flash first (if you haven't).

For Youtube/flash videos, right-click on any flash content in your browser, click settings, in the first tab untick "enable hardware acceleration". For playing actual video files... maybe in the player settings? Don't know...

Yeah it's a good piece of software. Most people just tend to use the free solutions because they're just as good when combined with some common sense.

Please provide the complete error message. What OS are you using? Windows 7, 8? Also... don't bump your topics more than once a day (24 hours).
