Yup, Win8 gave 10-15% increase in the bench marks I could run on it, A lot of them didnt work tho since the drivers wernt working properly on 8 yet. Single and duel threaded stuff went up a lot as well.
If its got a good 4+1 it might be able to do it with additional cooling. But the main thing to look for at the moment is good bios support.
