No difference watsoever between 3.5mm and 6.3mm. Unbalanced signal on both (except for some 6.3 cables) wired the same way, etc.

I running it on my laptop on Very High with a i7 and a mobility 7670 and I don't get any of the issues you guys are experiencing. You should have bought a toshiba laptop :D
