Im 99% sure if you go pluging the antec back to front (ie black on left side) you will damage the unit. It will still work but not as intended. I imagine you could still control it through smart fan.

I had to go buy a Lian Li T60 test bench and put my system into that which kept the pump horizontial and quite.
