Biometrics? Why? So Sony can restrict gaming only to those that have registered their fingerprints with them.
The only difference is what DaClownie mentioned. DVI-I and DVI-D support the same digital signal. It's up to the Video card/cable/monitor to actually include the support and pins for dual link operation.
It's fine. Modern CPUs have built in thermal management to slow and eventfully shut down themselves if overheating.
