if you're gaming yes. if it's just for enjoying videos chances are you won't notice the difference. in my experience even the difference between 1600x900 to 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 makes for more screen real estate for huds windows etc.

it likely means your overclock is not stable enough. if it's booting to windows after a single beep and boot you should be fine

anything 120mm is fine. do some research as to what is currently on your heatsink and compare to the list you've posted.
