Did the fan say it was compatable with your Cpu?

Ha no it really is not actually. I do believe it may not be properly fitted on your Cpu as a result of it being for a different Cpu! It would only make sense because the chip could not be making full contact with the heat sink!

I use geek squad F.A.C.E with kaspersky. Works the charm and wipes any other anti virus off the face of the earth.
