Update: Bought new ram, and running now on g.skill sniper se Also found a 4850 through the local classfieds, gonna try to get some crossfire action going.

Haven't had any luck borrowing yet. Don't have a lot of local pc enthusiast friends, most have macs, laptops, or older systems.

I forgot to add it before, but I did try clearing CMOS too. Not sure if ncix will allow me to refund an opened item, especially now that I've modded the IO panel. It didn't lineup with the back ports

Well my old mb fried a while back so I ordered these and got them in the mail about 3 days...

I just got the same board and the 2x4gb version of that ram myself, and an x4 960, and the ram is not being detected. I think the ram might not be compatible with that board.

Have CR already, been wanting the original though, count me in.

So after a fail of a Portal group buy, and a sale purchase of the orange box, I have now have a few extra Steam gift passes sitting around. Thought it would be cool if everyone with extra passes could start posting them up and...
