normal convention for aircraft axes are as follows: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_principal_axes and yeah, I'd call a rotation about the stick it's self a z-axis too. Normally that'd be set to yaw, moving the stick left to right...

not used any of those but I've owned a Razer Lycosa for about 6 years maybe and it's been solid as a rock so I'd be happy to buy another Razer keyboard
