If you have physical space for the M8, I don't think that you will regret it. I was concerned myself but after using one I'm really glad that I went with the Magnum line. It also looks really good in person.
I agonized over the same decision and ended up with the M8. Really glad that I went this way as I love having all of the space on the PSU side.
I have an Eloop S2 arriving today. Looking forward to it.
