Yea but the Ivy CPU's r on a dead end socket atm. And this close to a launch i would have thought it would be better to wait for the newest gear. Each to their own though

All u building new rigs should wait for Intel Haswell, and Nvidia 700 series, they very close to release.

If i were u i would get a 780 + waterblock. Probably wont use up the entire $1000 but u can then save for a second. IMO the 780 is the only card worth spending the money on in the 700 series as the 760ti and 770 are just tweeked 670's...

Get a 780. It should have 3gb VRAM, be faster than a 680, and hopefully only a tad under the Titan as the specs really are not THAT different. The main question is price. It will likely be between $625/£500 - $750/£600.

Ok after just those 2 comments i dug deaper on the corsair and seasonic PSU's and yea, lots of comments about coil whine. I have the same issue ur having now with my TX750m, it has coild whine when on.. very very quiet barely noticable...

Ok i should have mentioned im form the UK. I was looking at the NZXt units, but they were not fully modular, which i would prefer. Why would u not touch the platunum units ?
