So I've noticed that the max speed is about 2.6m on most surfaces. This combined with not being able to do 1000hz have to be my two main gripes with this mouse. Two problems which would have coincidentally been solved by using the g400...

Ugh. If only they didn't have such outrageous DPI steps. Honestly. 450 is crazy low, 2300 is crazy high and 1250(what they cal 1150) is just bizarre. There are a ton of gamers who use between 800-1000 DPI, why on earth alienate that...
