I like your original list, though you don't really need a C2D. I've run a P4 server and Athlon X2 fileserver just fine. Athlon x2 like swapping files quick in my opinion just for home use. Of course at work that's a different story

Ummm, how is that best looking color scheme? It's Intel's default color scheme, with 3 green RAM slots. Foxconn X58 ftw.

1. I use Rubbing Alcohol and Q-Tips. 2. I also use a 38mm thick fan and the clips work fine, though they are a bit weird to deal with.
