The motherboard might recognize the proper timings right away. After you install the DIMMs, just go into your BIOS and check what frequency the RAM is running at. If it isn't 1866, it should just take a few simple clicks to get it...

Well I put it back in. I tightened the standoffs a little bit. Apparently he hadn't tightened them as thoroughly as i thought. It's working now. At 3am... Thanks guys.
