Well I've finished all the rest from the AC series. This one's the only one left along with the upcoming Black Flag.

So what could the reason possibly be that Samsung would abandon the very technology they pushed for in their past previous flagships?

Isn't worth the price IMO, but indeed the screen is impressive.

1080p on a 15.6" display is fine. 27" or 15.6", as long as it's the same resolution your desktop real estate will always be there, not to mention everything will be sharper (though obviously smaller) on the smaller screen.

I just wish the design was more toned down/subtle a la Asus G Series laptops, matte black and all. Looks a bit garish IMHO.

^ I believe the 50mm will be 75mm (as he has a D90). Nikon crop sensors have a 1.5x factor, Canon ones have a 1.6x.

^ Yup. Definitely. a99, RX1, RX100. All superb cameras. Out of the OP's budget though. But there's the a37 and a57 I suppose.
