check http://support.microsoft.com/kb/233307 for IEEE 1394 general troubleshooting does your device manager show anything with a yellow exclamation mark next to it?
is your PC overclocked or everything at stock? also, does it crash while the computer is idle or only when its under a load? (in a game, encoding,etc)...or both? edit: i read that it crashed right after startup...but other than...
holy cow!
glad to hear it! listen to that cpu purrrrrr
I would get a legit copy of windows and get it fully updated, and then update us on how it goes. the mods won't want to see people commenting on a "not legit" copy
yea, Displayport can support 120hz above 720p...give that a whirl if you have the connections/cables available, let us know
so I forgot to mention 720p is the highest supported resolution at 120Hz over HDMI (if i am remembering correctly), i was just trying to help fix your HDMI root issue...you need dual-link DVI for 120Hz above 720p

great temp. I really dont remember what i had in IBT at 4.5ghz, mine is OC'd to 4.7 daily, and i can sometimes squeeze a run in at 4.9/5.0 before it crashes. i think the highest i have ever gotten is 120gflops
