no not really, becuase its using the GPU on the i3 to do all of the decoding of the video, cpu gets used very little.
i3/5/7 with hd4000 will play 720-1080p  HD just fine, no need for the 480 to be in there being all hot .
nothing would happen, there are just fins, just like on any car radiator, you can bend then and it would still work. the liquid runs inside the channels going up and down, the fins are there to trap air moving through.

you cant do menus with plex, at least not that im aware of. plus to have menus dont you gotta have them in ISO format?
install plex server and plex media center on other pcs and you're done, can watch it on iOS, android, roku,, pretty much anywhere, if your device cant handle it it automatically down converts, so pretty much any device will play it.
i recently RMAed my asus gtx 560 ti that i bought open box a year and half  ago, got a working card back within a week, so i guess its onMSI thats doing that, thanx for the heads up, i wont be buying MSI open  box anymore.
