I've only finished a handful of singleplayer games simply because I hate when things come to an end. If I really love a game, I get really close to the end and then either stop playing or I restart.

I'm sure you could find a slightly used U2311H for under $300 easy, or wait for the occasional Dell sale and get one for ~$250.

For me, it's much more comfortable to do my nighttime browsing on a tablet since I can lay down sideways and use the tablet at the same time and it also doesn't create the same amount of heat and noise a laptop does.
