If I were you I would not skimp on a mobo for a $500 CPU.

I always try to get the most out of my warranties. I would RMA it.

Finally got my four cards back in after a long RMA.

I wouldn't call this a down size.

I would go with the 900D if you don't want to do any modding. If you don't mind modding in a window I would go with the Cosmos 2.
