Just tested the above monos. Both cards are tight against each other. The zx77 looks promising but will I have slot issues to keep performance.

Thanks for your advice, very useful. I've also found the maximus v formula which offers the same. I think it's the widest I'm going to get. Don't know why they build these cards if they don't support them fully.
