I've continued folding after the challenge. I've been consistently getting core 16 WUs with my 7970 since April 22nd. Why did the core 17 WUs disappear?

Intel does have native AHCI drivers, but I do prefer the chipset specific. The only time I used the native Intel personally is when I was first using SSD drives because TRIM was supported with the native drivers.
