MMO genre is not dying, the trinity (tank healer dps) style that WoW has refined (and milked) is just too old now. To be honest, you need a solid background history like WoW and an entirely different system to be better than WoW. That...
First of all, try safe mode. And check cpu cooler if its tight, or missing some washers (meaning it may not have enough pressure on the cpu ihs so it has air pockets) If it does the same thing on safe mode then it's hardware related,...
So the CPU is like "Meh" but iGPU is like "::Eyebrow:: Fascinating" over Ivy.
Is there a benchmark after the last patch that's supposedly fix AMD performance ?
I meant coils. You know there are PSUs with their coils are sealed with some substance. To prevent harmonic distortion / Coil whine i guess. I guess these should be filled too on VGA cards.
Do not separate the cooler from the gpu if you are not replacing TIM. You introduce air pockets to the current TIM when you put it back on without replacing. This makes it worse.

Yes dried TIM is a problem, but it shouldn't dry too quick, have you ever re-applied the TIM ? or both cards still have the factory applied tim ? Side case helping temps means hot air is trapped in your case, you need more exhaust fans...
All cards have that, i can't remember my 1950xt had that but 4850 definitely had. With 6850, I notice some whining on WoW login and character screen. Never in any 3d environment.
