O.K. I'm all wired up and ready to go test and see if I did it all right. I used 3 molex connectors so all 3 of the 12v and all 5 grounds are dedicated lines back to the PSU

So would you recommend using 3 molex to get the correct number of grounds and 12v's. I know adapters just splice them in from 2 molex, but is that really the safest way?

Actually someone just gave me a box full of computer stuff for free. Phenom II X4 640, GTX 280, DDR3, Case, everything except HDD and optical. The PSU that was in the case was bad. The other is a decent 600w that has no 8 pin

Just got a GTX 280 but the PSU I have only has 1 pci-e 6 pin. I need to make an 8 pin adapter but cant find any guides.
