I stopped using Furmark. When I was testing my R9 290 with an H55, it got up to about 50°C, it killed my card.
Yeah, it looks like he probably misread it.http://silverstonetek.com/legacy.php?area=en&model=sugo-pack
No, there is not enough space between the side and the mobo.
That sucks. Most of my experiences on eBay has been good. The worst one was getting an X58 mobo that was wrapped with saran wrap and shipped in a box of foam peanuts. Needless to say, it was DOA. The seller was just some random guy who promptly apologized and refunded me after I shipped the board back.As for CPUs, both my Xeons I got off eBay were tightly wrapped and taped up in antistatic bags and shipping in a bubble envelope.
Yes, I'm sure mine is a 1.0. I have both an 1.0 and 1.6 and both work fine.
I have used an R9 270 and R9 290 on it without issue. I used both an i7 920 and X5675 on it as well.
Your board is exactly the same one I have, the EX58-UD3R Rev 1 (I do have a 1.6 one as well). I'm running just fine with the F12Q Beta BIOS.
Not sure how to fix it but I'm running an even older EX58-UD3R Rev 1.0 and it runs fine in Windows 7 with an R9 290.
Anyone here try cutting a hole on top to add an AIO cooler like how it can be done on the RVZ01? http://www.overclock.net/t/1466816/silverstone-raven-rvz01-rvz02-ml07-ml08-ftz01-owners-club/80_40#post_21811709
