i have XP installed on drive H: so should NTLDR and NTDETECT go there or in C:?
theyre on diff partitions man thats why i get boot screen vista is on main and xp is on 15gb partition
i dont see how they get to the repair screen though will try in the morning
and any idea on how i can access my c:/boot.ini as i...
im dual-booting xp + vista on the same HDD and i get this error when i try to load up xp how should i fix it? putting the xp system disc doesnt help as it doesnt give a repair option any other options would be very helpful thanks
i suggest you get a floppy it never hurts to have one just incase you need it and its not that expensive $20 at the max, or you could put in another $20 and get a floppy and card reader
yup its the full version i got ultimate for 190$ id suggest that over home premium anyday if ur switching to vista might as well put in another 70 and get the best one out so far
