Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. The best air cooler around. You'll have to buy a separate retention bracket though.

Yes the 690 can hold a Ultra 120ex. But just like the 900, you wont be able to have the upper side door fan on.

Why would go from one power house card, to two mid range cards that might beat your gtx on some games, but probably only match it in others. Seems like a waste of an upgrade, seeing as how you probably wont notice the difference in...

Well, you only payed for the 600/900 clocks. If it won't clock higher there's not much else you can do.

Yeah there both OC'ed. It say's the KO's core clock is 636. while the MSI is clocked way up at 660mhz. I'd still get the Open Box MSI, it's a guaranteed clock of 660mhz, while there's no guarantee the Evga will even hit that...

I'm guessing it's a broken sensor. If it's not changing at all during load, or even when you pump more volts through it. I think that is your issue.
