I also wonder what they will do with the compute performance, they could gimp the compute with the newer cards for better perf / watt like the 680 and aim for higher gaming performance.

Definitely should overclock higher than 5g since its on a new node ;o

I don't think it works that way considering the fact that it will implement some HSA so it will definitely need to have the same memory controller for the cpu and GPU afaik.

I think waiting would be a better option unless you want to go crazy with a 6 display surround with all games maxed out. I would wait till amd has something to compete with this so that the prices come down a bit
