I think I would wait. I have not seen the PCB but I would imagine there is a reason those screws are missing on the titan back.

You can get a cooling pad to force air into it constantly that will limit the internal fans revving. They are designed to conserve power so they let heat build then dump it.

I just screwed up cleaning my Raystorm. Leaked all over my PC while on...Dried it for 3 days and cleaned it with alcohol. Maybe it's not a total loss. Mine works fine so far.
