One installation of windows won't delete another installation. That keeps people from doing stupid things. It would help to know how you installed win8. In the mean time take a look at BCDEdit.
It would help a lot (ie, make it possible to give an answer!) if we knew what your sound system consisted of. Sound card? speakers? Amp, etc.?
F8 (Safe Mode) ---> System Restore.
Have a look here
Yes faster, but you'll have to reinstall windows and everything else too.
With both drives plugged in, you have two actie, primary drives, both with boot sectors. The computer says "Huh, What? I better not do anything!". Fixboot and Fixmbr. on the new drive.
Exact Audio Copy, Wave Purity Professional, AVS Audio Recorder, AVS Audio Editor, Adobe Audition 3.0, Vinyl Studio, Diamond Cut Forensics. Some are free, some trials, some very expensive. It's all the stuff I play with.
At work now. I'll get back to you tonight about software.
Be careful. Just because a video card has three or four outputs doesn't mean you can use all of then at the same time. Here's one that supports four though.
So you like the sound of vacuum cleaners coming from your computer? And I'd be careful with connecting more than one of those to a motherboard fan header, they draw 1 amp, a lot more on start up. Don't put then down on a bench loose...
