The RAID driver is usually included in the chipset driver package. If there are no WIN7 chipset drivers then likely there are no WIN7 RAID drivers. With desktop computers the chipsets are fairly standard and drivers are available...
You could check voltages with a volt meter, or amps with an amp meter.
Automotive heater cores work better than an AC condenser.
If the RAID is going to be striped (RAID 0) and be the boot drive, you have have to install the OS after you make the RAID array. Bottom line: you'll have to do a new, clean install of the OS.
