If it's for Dragon Age I'd go with the 4970, provided your PSU can handle it.

Are you looking for a card for your sig rig? A $200 card would be overkill in that machine. Depending on the model it may not even have a PCI-E x16 slot. If not, then an ATI Radeon HD 4890 is probably your best bet, unless you wait...
I personally just bought a PNY, but that was because I got it for less than $200 on that there popular internet auction site.
Also, it was vanilla, with 192 shaders, standard clocks.
But both of those are because I'm as strapped...

I would say go with a GTX260 for two reasons, here:

Have you tried booting the P5K caseless? I've had similar problems before and it turned out my motherboard was intermittently shorting on the motherboard tray.
