get a 260gtx core 216, its only about $50 more then a 9800GTX and much faster, almost as fast as a 280GTX/4870

yes, they should be able to, my friend has his mushkins at those settings.

i dont think 6gb is really necessary, 4gigs of high quality ram will be much better IMO.

I would get the BenQ V2400W , 2ms , 1920x1200, 4000:1 etc, google it and youll see lots of reviews

E2400HD, thats what im going to get, it will look amazing on the PS3 because it wont need to stretch the image like most 16:10 monitors and it wont have any bars.
