I have a matx build I just put together and it is the weirdest thing. I had it on nothing but SATA and upon power up it would spin the cpu fan and then quit. So I double checked everything and all I pretty much did was move this build...

I would assume since he is not OCing his rig that all of the CPU throttling is tuned on so he is probably not even near 3.3 at idle... both of you need to run something like prime95 for 5 minutes and see whats up then.

It is better by a good bit in most games. But if you are willing to invest in a 5870, I would hold off for the 5870's replacement, not the 5850's, imho.
