I would go for the s4, I got the Evo 4g LTE instead of the s3 and regret that choice. As far as the aluminum body goes, I have noticed major durability issues, while the plastic may look cheaper, it actually handles impact ALOT better...

I feel your pain, I killed a 3770k a few weeks ago I don't have the money to replace it so I'm just sticking with my current rig.
