the D is pretty outdated. may i suggest an E5200? much more efficient than a D, and more powerful. Edit: I am a Jelly Donut! don't take my advice!
Goal: to make my secondary computer a server for TF2. I've done a few Google searches, but I don't think something is going right. I've downloaded the hldsupdatetool.exe, but I don't think its running correctly on my 2nd computer....
They depend on the disk, and the hardness of the material. I go through probably 1 disk per, foot of case metal cutting. But thats with some cheap generic ones.
I've been having stange problems too with the drivers on my 9800, crysis crashes if you try to change settings, It doesnt support 1440x900 resolution, and its a big headache IMO. I'm tempted to go back to the 186's too.
was this inspired by a couple of problems with win7? I think there would be more problems running xp in 2010 than 7 in 2010. It'd be like running 95 instead of xp in 2001-2002. Its just torturing yourself.
Of all the computers i've worked on (had viruses), about 90% had McAfee. I guess its very easy to disable McAfee, because all the problems occured from McAfee bieng disabled from the viruses. AVG has been great in my experience....
UT99 GOTY, Opened my eyes to the concept that people you dont know, from all around the country, can come together, and play a game. I sucked at it, but it was my first FPS, and i stuck with it.
Continue lapping, it is not done yet. You're almost there though, Cheers!
