I second the Sony Experia Z. Better in every way than the Nexus 10 except lower screen res (still 1920x1200 which is plenty on a 10" screen). Micro SD Slot! Faster, better battery life. Oh, and it's water proof (beach anyone )

I hadn't thought of Sony stores. There are only a couple of them in Toronto. Waiting for Future Shop or Best Buy takes forever.
Engadget tested them both with a looping continuous video test. Another hour and fourteen minutes of continuous use so I would expect casual use would be higher as well.
