The glowing blue LED's, look sharp in the dark. The GPU actually covers the PCI-e x1 slot and the $39.00 Gigabyte board has two internal headers and two external (8 USB 2.0 ports) Adding PCI card with USB would only give me USB 2.0 rather than USB 3.0 because of bandwidth architecture of the slot / buss. The next board up was $35.00 more and the ribbon cable and PCI-e USB 3.0 card was only $12.00 so was good deal. There is barely, I mean barely enough room to actually bend the ribbon and duck the GPU to put the covered slot to use. I have yet to install it and when I do I will be sure to post pictures and comments. My current USB usage is extensive. I am using ports for, Microsoft 5000 mouse, Logitech HD C910 , Logitech K800 keyboard, Magicjack, Antec cooler, card reader, Bluetooth.
