I recently bought a bunch of 4-pin molex to 3-pin fan adapters in the clearance section on SVC. Upon arrival I noticed that had the opposite molex connector that I wanted. These came with a male molex connector. I needed female.

I wasn't about to let my $0.75 worth of adapters go to waste, so I grabbed an old dead power supply from the basement and proceeded to take the molex adapters off of it and replaced the male connectors on the adapters I bought with the ones I had stripped from the dead PSU. I think they turned out pretty well! The connectors aren't UV blue like the original ones, but I don't really care since these are going to be connected to my fans in my Antec 900 behind the solid right side panel.

I don't see how that could be useful unless you have a modular PSU...

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.
