This is a sped up visual guide showing you how to install a Zalman VF900-Cu onto a eVGA 7900GT. Its not perfect, but you'll catch my drift

Oh and a rep+ for the first person to guess what the BGM is a remix of

Nice guide for the 7900GT. I'm getting one soon along with a ZF900 so it was a nice watch even thought zalman installations are pretty straightforward.

The BGM music seems famaliar. Is it from F-Zero?

dammit... thought this forum was full of 16 y/o's, thought nobody would guess that muzak rep+ for you, its from the first level of F-Zero, mute city

Yeah the installation of the VF900 is pretty easy, still if the video stops just 1 n00b from short circuiting his vga it will all be worth it

I should probably mention i've changed my method of doing this since. I now use ArtiClean to clean the ram and gpu, I also don't spread out the AS5 I just put a blob in the middle of the gpu and let the heatsinks weight spread it

I'm gonna say though, it's 10 times more safe to spread it out manually, because the last couple of times I let the heatsink spread it out, I killed my graphics card because I put too little on.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.
