Lol 80% of what I was wearing s Armory :P I double log and run myself through all of SM in an hour. I got some of the nice rare caster drops I always wanted on my warlock.

What terrible graphics. Why do people play that game
The graphics were turned way down at the time because WoW was not made to run in Linux.
Anyways I think they play it because it's a really fun game itslogz, you know.. the reason most people play any game, they find it enjoyable.
On it's highest setting it's still no Fallout 3 but that's not what Blizzard was going for. They wanted a happy medium between nice graphics and the ability to run the WoW client on a number of systems reliably. Graphics do not make or break a game. They never have and never will. What does is the gameplay.
Take Tetris for example. Something like 16 colors on a 640x480 screen and a few simple shapes and controls, enjoyed by millions of people over multiple generations still today. Then you take something like Crysis, which has insanely good graphics that only a handful of people can run well with a storyline that's straight out of Uwe Boll's guide to plot.
I, along with millions of other people around the world, have enjoyed this "terrible graphics" game for years now and I don't think you'll see us changing anytime soon.
