The fan's bigger and the h/s is entirely copper maded, i would say you made a good choice

Thanks, alot of people that choose aftermarket chipset coolers choose the VC-RE since its low profile and doesn't get in the way of the GFX card.

My chipset now runs 5C cooler on average

Get the VC-RE , it can fit on all DFI boards without getting in the way of your video card or any other cables.

I put one on my CFX3200 DR-UT and it blocks one of the screw holes for the mobo. Eh, all the other work fine tho so I'm ok with it!

Nice, I did the exact same upgrade. The stock NB cooler was making this horrible griding noise, and the temps were too high...
