i was thinking of upgrading my sig rig by getting another 8800gts and going sli but have been told my CPU will bottleneck the system so i am know thinking of upgrading my mobo and cpu
__________________i would like some input on where to go with this and would like to keep my gpu and and ram if posible (will be upgraded just not at the same time) im not picky about AMD or Intel just value for money i mainly use my rig for gaming and can probley spend upto £300 any advice will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

You can likely pick up a used q9550 (q9650 if you get the right deal) or a q6600 quad and keep the rest intact.

i was looking into the q9550 but apperantly it is only compatibale with the 680i not the 680i LT like ive got
