Default GPU performance onto Dual monitors

so im planning as of now my new build to have a gtx260c216 superclocked from evga, and im planning on getting 2 22" monitors. Is this fine for now as well as to run gaming or does running 2 monitors hinder the performance of the gtx260c216 because from reading benchmarks i always see that the bigger the res the lower the FPS but would a second monitor running AIM/Winamp/Firefox[for those o so helpful walk-throughs] hurt my gaming performance even more or should i try to get a stronger card and/or SLI?

two monitors will take more video ram because its twice the resolution, but only one is accelerated so it wont affect performance at all, i ran two monitors no problem.

will definitely hinder performance as it puts more load
when i still had the 285 and enabled a second monitor at low resolution, it upped the temps by 12C or so iirc
it's just the question if you'll see it or not
i didn't
