Hi guys,
I've spent hours doing readings online and trying to find thr best settings for OCing on my system config. But I wasn't able to find something conclusive and don't feel experienced enough to play around with it. I was wondering if someone here has the same system and is willing to share their settings I would really appreciate it. I'm so confused and don't want to hurt my baby. Trying to get it to a high speed without causing long term damage to it. Below is my setup Intel Core i7 920 Quad Core Processor LGA1366 2.66GHZ Bloomfield 8MB LGA1366 4.8GT/S ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 X58 ATX LGA1366 DDR3 LGA1366 3PCI-E16 PCI-E4 2PCI CrossFire SLI SATA2 Motherboard Antec Nine Hundred Mid Tower Gamer Case Radeon HD 4870 770MHZ 1GB 3.6GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI-I Video Card Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme 1366RT Heatpipe Cooler LGA1366 120MM Fan FDB 1600RPM 28.0DBA 63.7CFM G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB 7200RPM 32MB Dual Proc 3.5IN SATA Hard Drive OEM 5YR Mfg Warranty Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 140MM fan Thanks! |

Hey. Thanks for your reply.
I've gone through that post 5 times over and I understand everything and am willing to give it a try. I was looking for specific settings for the specific setup. Something to use as a guideline, since I don't feel confident enough to chance harming my computer, would prove to be very helpful. Thanks again! |

every system is different. even with the same hardware. you have to find your own. :-)

I guess that makes sense.
Of course the only method I would think of using would be the first method, but it just seems vague. I can't tell which settings he is talking about. My motherboard has all these different options in setting sections that can be OC'd, I just can't tell which is which. Last edited by Shamster : 10-16-09 at 09:54 AM |

yea, that tripped me up for a while too. you should just make sure to read LOTS before you do too much and try to get an idea of what the main features are called in your bios. if you have any specific questions, search for it on the forum and if you dont find the answer make a thread asking. :-)
