Default Budget gaming build-need help

So recently ive been looking at upgrading my computer but my mobo only has one PCIe slot and im unsure if its 2.0. So ive come to the conclusion that im going to have to build a new pc because i want to use SLI (eventually, and yes im an nVidia type of guy). So I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand as i am fairly new to the world of computers, but i do have a grasp of basic concepts (although i am still as confused as hell about memory).
Stuff I'm Looking for:
I want to be able to play GTA IV, WoW, Fallout and Crysis on max settings if possible (being a budget build i understand some overclocking may be involved)

nVidia graphics card preferably GTX 260 or above, with an HDMI port or similar solution if possible

250-500 GB HD (preferably something quiet)

Dual core processor that is faster (or the same as) my current one (2.8Ghz)

Max amount of RAM possible for OS

Things to Note
I am Canadian so i would prefer http://www.tigerdirect.ca since it is close to my work and i can pick it up or i would also be okay with ordering from http://www.newegg.ca

I am unsure to whether or not im going to go with a 32-bit or a 64-bit OS so a little advice here would be appreciated (I am going to go with windows 7 which does not have to be included in the cost of this build)

I already have a monitor, and will probably be working with a dual monitor setup in the near future

Now for the important part, the budget; I can do anything from $500-$800 CDN at the moment but with a little bit of saving i could do up to a max of $1000 (although i dont really want to because im saving for school next year)
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Where do you live? There are many smaller shops that can do better than tigerdirect.

By the specs that you're showing, looks like you're running an Acer T series rig.

Could be wrong.

Anyway, an intel Core i5 would be a good choice in your price range.

nVidia graphics card preferably GTX 260 or above, with an HDMI port or similar solution if possible. You can purchase a DVI - HDMI adapter so theres no problem here.

250-500 GB HD (preferably something quiet) Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB would be a good choice. Though if you want something with PURE silence, you may want to invest in a Solid State Drive, though they are very pricey at the moment, and have reliability issues.

Dual core processor that is faster (or the same as) my current one (2.8Ghz) Quad core is really a much better choice.

Max amount of RAM possible for OS You won't need more than 4GB unless you are doing serious video editing / rendering.

Things to Note
I am unsure to whether or not im going to go with a 32-bit or a 64-bit OS so a little advice here would be appreciated A 32bit OS will not allow more than (approx)3GB of RAM, but they are alot more stable. However, a 64bit OS will allow as much ram as you can stuff into the slots, but have problems with compatibility with 32bit applications. (I am going to go with windows 7 which does not have to be included in the cost of this build) 'Cause piracy is amazing.

OS: windows 7 pro x64
RAM 2GB 1333mhz x 64
EVGA GTX 260 SuperClocked
AMD Phenom II x3 710 or 720 BE

Roughly $2,500 US

Not really budget but very intriguing

So i found this (its the top one, with a core i5!) on newegg and was thinking its a good start all i need is more ram and a videocard... but that is the upper limit of my budget... how will a setup like this perform as far as gaming goes?

EDIT: changed/fixed link

Forgive me for posting a bunch of premade kits but they seem like my best bet... This one looks pretty good and i can probably pick it up,. but its at the higher end of my budget and doesnt have a graphics card... What i was wondering was how well would a setup like this oc? (i understand it depends on the actual hardware as each chip can be different even if produced on the same day at the same manufacturing plant) and if i bought a set of GTX 260's (one at a time later down the road) how long do you think this setup would last me as far as gaming goes?

A few years imo. I think you bought your Graphics Card too early imo.

The kit looks nice and oc potential depends on your CPU, RAM, Mobo + PSU. I'm worried that PSU might not be a good one because Ultra doesn't seem like a brand that is popular
