Default Are these parts compatible with each other?

Hey, I'm new here. And happy to be here...

But I also need some advice... I am going to build my own gaming pc in December, in India (that's where I'm from)... And I would like some help...

Okay I have to tell you that I'm 15 years old, so I only have some knowledge about this... But at the moment, to me, all these parts seem to be compatible with each other:

================================================== ==

CASE: Thermaltake - VH9000BWS - Thermaltake Xaser VI MX Series - Mid Tower - Supports uATX and ATX

MOTHERBOARD: EVGA - 123-YW-E175-A1 - nForce 750i SLI FTW - 1333+ FSB - ATX

RAM: Corsair – DDR2 Dominator Series - (2x2 GB DDR2 1066MhZ)

GRAPHICS CARD: EVGA - 896-P3-1267-ER - GTX 260 SC - Super Clocked 896 MB DDR3 – 216 Core Edition

ALSO IF YOU NEED MORE SPECS, tell me!!

================================================== ===

I will consider the other stuff like the DVD-DRIVE & HDD later... AND IF I HAVE MISSED OUT ANYTHING ESSENTIAL... PLEASE TELL ME...

================================================== ===

AND NEED SOME ADVICE ON WHICH PSU I SHOULD BUY FOR IT: (we use 220V-240V here [currently living in Uganda])

-CoolerMaster - RS500-AMBAD3-EU - Silent Pro 500W
-CoolerMaster - RS600-AMBAD3-EU - Silent Pro 600W
-CoolerMaster - RS700-AMBAD3-EU - Silent Pro 700W

Apparently they are of different dimensions, and I don't know wich will fit into the case. But I have chosen these because they are silent but powerful...

Also these PSUs:

-Corsair - 650W Power Supply - (CMPSU650TX)
-Corsair - 620W Power Supply - (CMPSU620HX)
-Corsair - 750W Power Supply - (CMPSU750TX)
Corsair - 1000W Power Supply - (CMPSU1000HX)

Everything there is compatible, but what about the processor or power supply?

Update: Don't go with CoolerMaster for PSUs. The 650TX is probably the cheapest, and its all you really need, even if you want to go SLI

And you still need a processor!

Have you considered what HDD you're going to get? I'd go with a 1TB Western Digital if I were you.

The 650TX is enough to power any single card, and its a quality PSU that will be much better suited to the temperatures in Uganda and India. I wouldn't trust a regular CoolerMaster PSU to operate anywhere near load when its 40+ degrees out.

The processor is fine as well. You might want to consider some aftermarket cooling though. The stock heatsink is pathetically small and even without overclocking you'll probably run into issues.

Thanks so much guys!!!

And yeah I think I will go for a 500GB HDD (i don't use much anyway)...
Here are the specs incase you are wondering of two hard drives:

Please advise me on which one is best:

-Western Digital - Sata 2 - 500 GB (32 MB Buffer)
-Seagate - Sata 2 - 500 GB (16 MB Buffer) - 7200.12 RPM

Coz I think they are the same... and I'm on a tight budget, (only about $1300-$1500) :S

Unfortunately there's no more info on the site about this product...

BUT THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP!!!!!!

The Western Digital is by far the better drive. Its basically the 500GB version of mine, which means it will be a little slower, but still very fast, and very reliable. Seagate is notorious for their poor quality. Both of my Seagate drives have issues, but both my WD drives (one is an 8 year old 40GB) are running perfectly fine!

If you can get the 640GB Western Digital I would highly recommend it, but the 500GB is still great.

Go with this power supply:
Corsair - 620W Power Supply - (CMPSU620HX)

As for HD, I would look into the Western Digital Caviar black 640GB. Really nice performance and price.

Thanks so much heathmcabee, nathris and Pringlecks!!!

To heathmcabee:

But do you think the Corsair - 620W Power Supply fit in the Thermaltake Xaser VI MX case, coz im not sure what dimensions it is... it just says "Standard PS2 PSU"? And if you can please give me the dimensions for a "Standard PS2 PSU"?

I don't know any way to repay you guys!! I'm still new, so I think maybe rep is good...

To nathris:

Yes I will get aftermarket cooling... I will be giving rep to you aswell!!

THANKS GUYS!!!

Yes, the Corsair 620HX will fit just fine inside that case. It is a standard ATX case and so is the Corsair power supply. You wouldn't see any PSU's that would be hard to fit in that case till you get around the 1000watt or bigger power supplies, due to their longer length dimensions. Otherwise, you are good to go bud.

As for aftermarket cooling, look into the Xigmatek Dark Knight/Scythe Mugen 2/ OCZ Vendetta 2. If you want top notch cooling with air, then look for the Promilatech Megahalem or the Thermalright Ultra 120.
