So anyone wanna help me choose some stuff?
All i really have down is an i7 920. I am all caught up in what video card and mother board I should get. I would like something that will last for at least 3 years and I plan on either doing an sli or crossfire depending on what video card I get. I also play on overclocking both the i7 and video card. I was thinking of getting a radeon 5850 and crossfire it within a year or so. Any other suggestions? I am pretty much making it from scratch. Also getting new monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some input from you computer gurus. Thanks!

2x ATI Radeon 5870 is in the set-up for sure.

Regarding the video card: If you're willing to wait a bit, I'd actually wait until nVidia's G300 series comes out. Whether nVIdia or AMD will be winning then is moot; my reason is that the added competition will bring down prices on both sides, making whatever your choice will be a bit more affordable

Lol I know. I just got tired of my laptop and I have a lot of extra cash so I went on searching for a place to get some suggestions, and i found this great site. The 2 5870's sounds good and I think the 4 285 would just be overkill lol. And I do plan on waiting a bit to try and get the best prices I can. Would like to have some cash left over for some games coming out.

If you can wait and you don't mind spending money, wait until GT300 comes out from nVidia. If you want to buy now:
Budgeted i7 920 EVGA x58 classified 6gb Corsair Dominators 1600mhz 2x 5870 1gb OCZ Vertex 60gb SSD <-- boot 1gb Samsung F3 Spinpoint <-- storage Coolermaster HAF932 Corsair 1000hx PSU Megahalems Unbudgeted i7 920 EVGA x58 classified 4 way SLI 12gb Mushkin DDR3 2000mhz 3x 5870 1gb (you could get 4, but the 4th scales terribly. Until better drivers come out, do not get 4) Intel x25 G2 80gb x 3 in RAID5/0 <-- boot 3x Samsung Spinpoint F3 in RAID5/0 <-- storage Enermax Revolution 1200W Corsair 800D Case <--- INSANE CASE. GET IT. Watercooling: Heatkiller v3 TFC Monsta 360 rad Tygon 3/4" OD tubing Bitspower Compression Fittings Laing D5 Vario pump Any res you want Feser One coolant Anti kink coils Fill port T fitting In terms of screens, for budgetless get 3 of the really nice Dells. Either that or samsungs. Budgeted, spend some money on maybe a 26" or 28" screen, dont get 2 24". The bezel is dam annoying for gaming! I would say either 3 or 1 screens. Keyboard and mouse, look at Rokkat mice. They just released an amazing new one. The deathadder is good, but i would get a Rokkat next time. If you have the money get a MX Revolution, amazing mouse! NOt as good for gaming, but for general work it is amazing. Keyboard, logitech g15. DOn't get a razer keyboard, i won't make that mistake again. Or if you don't want to watercool on the budgetless, get a Prolimatech Megashadow

That sounds like a sweet list. I really want to watercool but I have never done that before. Do you think it would be a good idea to since I do live in the desert where it gets 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit easy in the summer and hella cold in the winter. I was thinking of just getting a 28" samsung since i love samsung displays. I am trying to fit this in my room so i think 3 would be to much lol.
